Recycling Guide

With our partners Marin Sanitary Service, Novato Disposal Service, and Mill Valley Refuse Service, Inc. Redwood currently accepts the following materials:

Household Recycling:

  • Paper products
  • Cardboard
  • Glass
  • Metal Cans
  • Aluminum
  • Empty containers
  • Appliances - Major appliances such as washers and dryers, water heaters, refrigerators are accepted for recycling (Redwood does not accept microwaves).

Building Debris for Recycling:

  • Concrete
  • Asphalt
  • Metals
  • Wood Waste (Redwood does not accept treated wood)
  • Soil
  • Co-mingled construction debris

Green Waste:

  • Lawn and garden clippings
  • Tree and vine pruning
  • Misc. plant trimmings and debris
  • Residential food waste collected curbside
